The Impact of Crowdfunding

NC State Crowdfunding projects across campus help our Wolfpack meet specific, tangible goals and bring new ideas to life.

Since last year, NC State Crowdfunding has supported more than 40 projects and helped raise more than $125,000. Each of these campaigns shows the power of the Wolfpack as we work together to benefit our students, faculty and communities across North Carolina.

Learn about how the Turtle Rescue Team, a student-run organization, met 310% of its crowdfunding goal to buy a new fridge — an effort to help address habitat loss.

Dressed for Success

Through one of NC State’s first crowdfunding projects, 20 students received a $250 stipend to purchase a professional outfit and styling advice to boost their job interview confidence.

A dream becomes reality

Drumming Up Passion

Alongside a passionate community of fans and supporters, the marching band met 150% of its crowdfunding goal to purchase new drums. Its 30-day grassroots social media campaign was the sound of sweet success.
