The FTD Emerging Designers Showcase presents the capstone design collections of seniors graduating from the fashion and textile design (FTD) program in the Wilson College of Textiles. The students spend a semester developing a collection of garments or textile products that are displayed in a fashion show or an exhibition, depending on what they produce. The showcase is open to the public, and it’s a great way for students to display their talents and grow their portfolios. It’s also a good opportunity for the college to show current and future students, faculty, and the designers’ friends and families what we do in the FTD program.
Budget Breakdown:
Funds will be placed in the FTD Emerging Designers Showcase Fund. If the project does not meet its fundraising goal, exceeds the project need, or the project cannot be completed, the funds will be used for the overall enhancement of the FTD Emerging Designers Showcase Program. Gifts are received by the NC State University Foundation, Inc. and may be distributed to an affiliated foundation that manages the fund supported by the donor.
