Back from the Brink: NC State’s Key Role in Red Wolf Recovery

As you may have heard recently, the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine is a key partner in keeping the red wolf from becoming extinct. The only place in the world where red wolves live in the wild is on the North Carolina coast, though about 230 live in facilities under human care. Some of them live here at NC State. You can learn much more about this important program and how it works here.
