Our Crowdfunding Groups
Data collected from our intake form shows that only 50% of our patrons have access to basic cooking tools such as a can opener or pots and pans. With these resource limitations, members of the Wolfpack community can't fully utilize Feed the Pack’s healthy, nutritious food. If we meet our fundraising goal, we will provide 30 kits for our patrons, who would greatly benefit from having access to these crucial kitchen essentials. Success in this project will allow us to better address food insecurity at NC State.
Budget Breakdown:
Each cookware kit costs approximately $175 and will include all the basic essentials including can openers, pots, pans, cutting mats, cooking utensils, a colander, bowls and a vegetable peeler. If we meet our goal we will be able to create 30 kits to loan to our patrons for the year.
Funds will be placed in the Feed the Pack Food PantryFund. If the project does not meet its fundraising goal, exceeds the project need, or the project cannot be completed, the funds will be used for the overall enhancement of the Feed the Pack Food Pantry Fund.
Gifts are received by the NC State University Foundation, Inc. and may be distributed to an affiliated foundation that manages the fund supported by the donor.
