NPHC and Multicultural Greek Council Leadership Training

The Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values (AFLV) exists to accelerate progress in fraternity/sorority communities across the country. Each year, more than 3,000 AFLV participants from more than 200 campuses come together for AFLV Central, a conference providing programming at all levels of the fraternity/sorority experience. AFLV Central includes the National Black Greek Leadership Conference (NBGLC), which gives undergraduate members of Black Greek-lettered organizations the opportunity to network and dialogue on issues that face them on predominantly white campuses. Funds raised through this campaign will cover the cost of conference registration and hotel accommodations for the members of NC State’s National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) executive boards to attend AFLV Central and the NBGLC in Indianapolis in October 2022.

Budget Breakdown:

Fourteen members of the NPHC and MGC executive boards will be attending AFLV Central and the NBGLC. Registration fees include the cost of several meals across four days and total $4,500 for all 14 board members. Four hotel rooms for three nights will run approximately $3,500.

Funds will be placed in the Fraternity and Sorority Life Enhancement Fund. If the project does not meet its fundraising goal, exceeds the project need, or the project cannot be completed, the funds will be used for the overall enhancement of the Fraternity and Sorority Life Enhancement Fund.

Gifts are received by the NC State University Foundation, Inc. and may be distributed to an affiliated foundation that manages the fund supported by the donor.
