Medical Supplies and Equipment for the Turtle Rescue Team

Due to a population and construction boom in the Raleigh-Durham area, the NC State Turtle Rescue Team has seen a dramatic increase in turtle patients during the 2021 turtle season, leading the team to use medical supplies and equipment at an alarming rate. With more patients comes the need to store more food for them; unfortunately, we are out of room in our refrigerator and are desperately in need of a second one.

Budget Breakdown: 

$2,500 - Medical supplies

$2,500- New refrigerator/freezer

Funds will be placed in the VetMed Turtle Rescue Team Fund. If the project does not meet its fundraising goal, exceeds the project need, or the project cannot be completed, the funds will be used for the overall enhancement of the VetMed Turtle Rescue Team Program. 

Gifts are received by the NC State University Foundation, Inc. and may be distributed to an affiliated foundation that manages the fund supported by the donor.
