Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Juntos Program supports students across North Carolina and nationally by providing family engagement opportunities, academic success coaching, and 4-H programming through clubs and summer experiences to Latinx high school students to educate youth and parents about post-secondary options.
In 2023, Juntos is hosting its first in-person National Convening at Oregon State University. This event will be the first time EVER that Juntos students from across the United States will be able to meet together and help set the stage for the future of the program. Throughout the event, youth will explore careers in STEM and Agricultural Science, network with Juntos alumni, and have the opportunity to develop and practice leadership skills, among other activities.
We are excited about gathering the youth together, and we need your help to get as many students there as possible! This funding will directly benefit our Juntos students in North Carolina.
Budget Breakdown:
The cost of travel, including transportation, hotel, food, and registration to the Convening will be around $2,700 per student. We hope to raise $13,500 to send five students from North Carolina to the Convening.
