Cadet Training Room Remodel

Over the past decade, renovations in Reynolds Coliseum have caused some of the cadet training spaces to be reduced in size. As a result, in 2022 a 1,500-square-foot room in the coliseum’s basement that was previously used for equipment storage was repurposed as a new cadet training room. The Department of Aerospace Studies is seeking assistance to help us renovate this space and transform it into a multipurpose professional development area where our students can train, study and socialize.

Budget Breakdown:

Our contractor has provided us with an estimate of $25,000 for the entire renovation. It will cost roughly $2,000 for electrical work, $12,000 for new walls, $2,000 for ceiling work, $7,000 for new floors and $2,000 for painting. We are hoping to raise $15,000 to support this renovation on top of the $10,000 already raised by the students in the department.

Funds will be placed in the ROTC Air Force Program Fund. If the project does not meet its fundraising goal, exceeds the project need or cannot be completed, the funds will be used for the overall enhancement of the ROTC Air Force Program Fund. Gifts are received by the NC State University Foundation, Inc. and may be distributed to an affiliated foundation that manages the fund supported by the donor.
