Veterans Day Campaign

Veterans Day has a special meaning at NC State, where we have 856 self-identified military and veteran students and 1,462 dependents. Our students represent all branches of the military – Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard – and we are proud to support them all through the Jeffrey Wright Military and Veteran Services program.

NC State is proud to be recognized for its excellence in education for veteran and military-connected students:

• NC State received the 2023-2024 Military Friendly School designation as a Top 10 Tier I Research Institution for support.
• NC State was recognized as a 2022 Military Times Best for Vets College.
• NC State was recognized as a U.S. News and World Report Best College for Veterans (#41 among national universities).

We invite you to contribute to the Military and Veteran Services Enhancement Fund to honor our military community with a donation this Veterans Day. A gift to the Enhancement Fund offers support to our military community in multiple ways, including comprehensive orientation for new military and veteran students; retention programs to help academically at-risk students; and programs specifically for military students, veterans and dependents.
