We’d like to give a big thank you to those of you who made it out to the retirement party and season launch event on August 15. It was great to see our community come together to celebrate the arts and Sharon’s incredible legacy.

We also want to express our gratitude and appreciation for all of your generosity toward NC State LIVE. Thanks to supporters like you, we have raised more than $15,000 (and counting) in celebration of Sharon’s retirement for the Sharon Moore NC State LIVE Endowment Fund. Endowed funds are a true bedrock for our arts programs as they are reliable annual funding streams that perpetually exist and grow over time. With a strong endowment fund, we can be confident that NC State LIVE will continue to serve the NC State and greater Raleigh communities. 

We also wanted to take this opportunity to share the 2023-2024 NC State LIVE season line-up with all of you. We have some incredible artists coming to town and would love to see you all at these performances. Even though Sharon may no longer be leading NC State LIVE as the director, her vision for the arts will continue to be carried forward.  

Sharon’s last official day as the director of NC State LIVE was Thursday, August 31.
